Open Play
Open Play will be available to registered FVYHA players from U6 Mites through Bantams. Players can work on their game, shoot pucks, play small-area games, scrimmage with friends, or simply get on the ice and have fun.
A few important guidelines:
- Open Play is limited to registered FVYHA players. Ice access is part of your registration, and the appropriate waivers have already been completed through registration.
- Players under 12 must have adult supervision. At least one adult must be in the small-ice area or watching from the fishbowl room. One adult can be responsible for multiple players.
- Players 12 and older may use the ice without direct adult supervision. We trust them to make good decisions and use the ice appropriately. Be role models for younger skaters.
- Open Play will be available primarily on weekends.
- We will communicate available Open Play times before each weekend.
- Open Play will not begin until after travel tryouts are completed.
- There will be ZERO TOLERANCE for misuse of the ice. If a player is behaving inappropriately, creating an unsafe environment, or putting other skaters at risk, their Open Play privileges will be revoked.
